U.S. Accountability for Progressing the Right to Food​​

​Join us for a conversation about human rights accountability and advancing the right to food.

We envision a food system that nourishes both people and the planet,  where decisions are guided by food as a human right.
 

We are weaving together and strengthening state and local efforts to advance the right to food in law, policy, and practice across the United States. We bring human rights frameworks into local use, while strengthening U.S. participation in global processes.

What We Do

We share learning and strategies that support people working at local and state levels to use a human rights-based approach to food systems change.

Right to Food Toolkit

Tools and resources to strengthen the right to food in law, policy, practice, and narrative in local places and states across the United States.

Right to Food comes to the United States: The Maine Example

Maine was the first state to include a Right to Food in its constitution. Learn more about the campaign behind this amendment and what this means.
